Pit Princess
I grew up less than a mile from a dirt track called Skagit Speedway, located in Washington State. In my return to sprint car racing (2006), I built a sprint car website called SprintCarz.com. While creating SprintCarz.com, a number of unusual circumstances would cause me to stumble into motorsport photography. It turned out to be something I loved.

Why do I take motorsport pics?

The simple answer... I love photographs. I think photos are a beautiful remembrance of one's life. A driver may never win a race or championship in his/her lifetime... but a photo can capture the passion that makes him/her look like a winner and a champion. That's what I want to pass on to others. The financial part of the business means absolutely nothing to me.

Thank you for taking the time to check out my site. Come back often to see the latest pictures captured here in the Great Northwest.

If you have any comments or requests, please email stacy@sprintcarz.com.

My
most frequently asked question:

Why do you wear a tiara when you are taking pictures in the pits?
1. I swear to God the tiara has saved my life in the pits. Because it's so sparkly and shiny, the drivers are more likely to see me and less likely to run me over... accidentally anyway...

2. I find that the tiara is kind of like the adult version of the stuffed cookie monster they have at the Sears Portrait Studios to get the little kids to look at the camera. I get tons of shots of drivers looking directly into the camera... and I'm convinced it's 'cause they see something sparkle out of the corner of their eye... lol...

3. And finally, there just aren't enough places to wear a damn tiara... so I thought I'd start a trend!
